Covering Wimborne · 7 days a week
New tyres, puncture repairs and more, fitted at your home, work or the roadside in Wimborne — usually the same day, seven days a week.
4.9 from 776 Google reviewsWimborne is only a few miles north of our Poole depot, so it's easy for us to reach. Our mobile tyre fitting in Wimborne means we come to your home, your workplace or the roadside, often the same day.
From 31A Banbury Road it's a simple drive up the A349 to Wimborne. Our vans cover the town centre and the surrounding areas: Colehill, Merley, Canford Magna, Corfe Mullen, Leigh Park and Pamphill. Each van carries a tyre machine, balancer and compressor, so tyres are fitted and balanced wherever you're parked.
Because the depot is so close, you also have the option of driving to us. Every service is available there, including a free brake check by one of our technicians. If your pads or discs need replacing, we fit quality parts with a manufacturer warranty, at the depot or at your home.
The A31 Wimborne bypass carries traffic between Dorset and the New Forest, and the large Canford Bottom roundabout, where several local roads meet it, can get very busy. Queues, sudden braking and summer holiday traffic all add up to wear on tyres.
If you pick up a puncture on the bypass, pull off somewhere safe before calling us. If the damage is in the central part of the tread, a repair may be possible. If it's in the sidewall or shoulder, it isn't safe to repair, and we'll tell you so.
Wimborne's centre has narrow streets and tight parking around the Minster, so it's often easier to have us fit tyres at home or at work than to drive across town to a garage. North and west of the town, the lanes towards Shapwick, Witchampton and Sturminster Marshall are rural, with mud and flints that take their toll on tyres.
Newer cars bring newer problems too. A tyre pressure warning light doesn't always mean a puncture. It can be a failed sensor, and we diagnose and replace TPMS sensors for all makes and models. To the east, Ferndown is covered by the same team. See our Ferndown page.
