Covering Swanage · 7 days a week
New tyres, puncture repairs and more, fitted at your home, work or the roadside in Swanage — usually the same day, seven days a week.
4.9 from 776 Google reviewsSwanage is tucked away at the end of the Isle of Purbeck, and getting to a tyre garage isn't always simple. Our mobile tyre fitting in Swanage brings everything to you instead. We fit tyres at home, at work, at your holiday let or at the roadside, usually the same day.
There are two ways to reach Swanage from our Poole depot. When the Sandbanks chain ferry is running, it's a short crossing to Studland and over the hill past Ulwell. Otherwise, it's the long way round by road: through Wareham on the A351, past Corfe Castle and into town.
In summer the A351 can be slow, with queues through Corfe and holiday traffic all the way down. It's one reason why mobile fitting makes more sense here than trying to drive a car on a damaged tyre all the way back to a garage. Each of our vans carries a tyre machine, balancer and compressor, so the work is done where you are.
Every summer, Purbeck fills up with caravans, motorhomes and trailers, many of them staying on the holiday and touring parks around Swanage and Studland. A tyre problem can turn a holiday sour quickly, especially on a caravan that's been stood all winter. Cracked sidewalls are a common sign that tyres have aged out, even with plenty of tread left.
Our mobile caravan tyre fitting means we can replace caravan and motorhome tyres on site. We're open seven days a week, Saturdays and Sundays included, which helps when you're trying to get away for the weekend.
Swanage is a hilly town, with steep streets running down to the seafront. The roads out to Langton Matravers, Worth Matravers and Kingston are often lined with stone walls and banks, and a scrape against one can damage a sidewall in seconds. Sidewall damage can't be repaired safely, and we'll tell you so.
Not every flat tyre means a new one, though. If there's a nail in the central part of the tread, a puncture repair under the BS AU 159 standard may get you going again. For more on the town you'll pass on the way in, see our Wareham page.
